Less than an hour’s drive from the house, you can reach some of the major cities that were once were the jewels of the Muslim kingdom of Al-Andalus, and today they are, along with Sevilla – the soul of Andalusia. The Córdoba Caliphate with its splendid mosque (now a cathedral) or the Nazari Granada , with its world famous Alhambra, one of the greatest examples of Moorish architecture in Spain, where history blends with legend to leave visitors speechless.
Other cities and towns such as Málaga, Nerja or Iznájar, with its castle,also from the Islamic period, are pearls that you should not miss.
Castillo de Iznájar
Less than half an hour away Antequera, located at a crossroads and therefore known as “the heart” of Andalusia. Its monumental artistic heritage make it a wonderful small town, full of houses, palaces, collegiate churches and convents.

It is vital to store your memories on your memory cards because you will be staying in an area with a rich mixture of photographic subjects, with unique natural parks like the Torcal de Antequera, and the wetlands of the Laguna de Fuente de Piedra and the Guadalhorce reservoirs, all within thirty minutes drive.

The beaches of the Costa del Sol are 50 minures away and there are two excellent golf courses in Antequera just 20 minutes drive.
